Today on 28-03-2011, Baba Farid College of Management & Tehnology, Bathinda organized ‘Splash- 2011’ in order to mark the creativity of the students and to insert the spirit of competition among the students. Director-Principal Dr.Manish Bansal, Deputy- Director S. Harpal Singh of BFGI, Head, Dept.of Training & Placement, Mr. Gaurav Garg, Mrs. Yogesh Bajaj, and Heads of the departments Neetu Singh and Deepika Bansal illuminated the lamps. The event compromised number of items, including Business Collage, Presentations, Skit, Mimicry, Extempore, Song Compitetion, Role Play, Professional fashion show and Group dance. The students brilliantly performed on the stage in every event.
The event started with the presentations by the students on the various topics like IT, automobiles, telecom, retail and banking. The students demonstrated their talent and spontaneousl in an event of extempore ‘Just a min’.
In order to beautify the environment Neha, Ravinder, Gopal, Harvinder delighted the audiences with beautiful Punjabi and Hindi numbers. They mesmerized the spectators with their lovely songs.
In the role play event, the students showed their managerial skills. The participants of Group-I stressed on ‘Selling is an art’, whereas Group-II portrayed the qualities of ‘Good ManagerVs Bad Manager’. And the contestants of Group-III highlighted the differences between ‘Good Interview and Bad Interview’.
A professional fashion show was also organized where the students gracefully walked on the ramp in their professional attire. In the skit competition, the participants satire on the social issues like unemployment.
Jatinder from MBA showed his skills in mimicry and made the audience to laugh at heart.
Deputy-Director Harpal Singh encouraged the students to participate in such events and to improve their skills. In the end Director-Principal Dr. Manish Bansal motivated the students to come up with more such events which could develop their skills and talent.
